Play “DECIDE” – Role play about climate issues for pupils aged 15 to upper secondary school

13.4.2010 - Educational event - Sweden

This is a 90-minute session during which students, with the aid of the game “DECIDE”, have the opportunity to discuss climate issues from different perspectives.

The various roles help to demonstrate and enhance an awareness and understanding of different opinions. Students can practise arguing for and against, and identifying attitudes that the roles can agree on.

By playing DECIDE, students can become more consciously aware of their own attitudes regarding how climate issues should be tackled and the arguments that support their opinions.

The game DECIDE (Deliberative Citizens’ Debates) has been developed by ECSITE in collaboration with European partners.
