Science Camps at Heureka: Renewable Energy

Climate change is one of the key topics at Heureka´s science camps in 2010. Up to 900 children participate the science camps annually.

Renewable Energy is  a workshop during which the participants get to experiment on electrical phenomena and applications (static electricity, induction and generators, capacitors, LEDs). They also build a working model of a wind mill or a hydroelectric plant and produce enough electricity for organizing a race with small electric cars.
