Science Camps at Heureka: Renewable Energy7.6.2010 > 13.8.2010 - Demonstration, workshop - Finland | ||
Climate change is one of the key topics at Heureka´s science camps in 2010. Up to 900 children participate the science camps annually. Renewable Energy is a workshop during which the participants get to experiment on electrical phenomena and applications (static electricity, induction and generators, capacitors, LEDs). They also build a working model of a wind mill or a hydroelectric plant and produce enough electricity for organizing a race with small electric cars.
